Caldium Theme Settings
Color Scheme
Almost limitless color schemes available. You can choose exactly the right color scheme to match your corporate colors.
Simple click on one of the color input fields and a color picker will appear allowing you to choose from a full palette range. There’s even a #HEX or RGB option.
You can choose the accent color, the shade of the header and bottom panels and the footer’s text and background color.
Custom Logo
Upload your own logo to the theme. Or leave blank and let the Blog title and tag line be used.

Navigational Links
Updating your main navigation has never been simpler – just check the tick boxes to create you own links in the navigation across the top of the page. The same process is repeated for the footer links.

Slideshow Options
- Choose which category from your blog to feature in the slideshow
- Choose the maximum number of entries
- Set the transition time between each slide
- Set the height of the images in the slideshow

Sidebar Alignment
You can choose to have the sidebar left or right aligned.

Ad Boxes
This theme comes with it’s own ad box widget which can be configured within the theme options page. You can choose to use up to 4 advert boxes – each has an option for the link address and the image address.
Each images can range from 125px wide to 260px however they look their best when they follow a consistent size.
Customizing the Portfolio
This theme comes with a portfolio page template which pulls ‘child’ pages into a gallery like display with zooming via FancyBox.
You can customize the gallery in the following ways…
- set the number of columns (1-7)
- set the caption font size
- select a variable margin
It’s also possible to create sub portfolios – and sub portfolios to those! Using pages you get to use the actual page as the destination for more information about your image.
Another cool feature is the ability to control the order of the images on the portfolio page by using the “Order” attribute.
More Text
If you’re a fan of the “More Tag” then you’ll welcome this chance to customize the text used by Wordpress to prompt the user to ‘Read More’.
Main_Image – (custom field)
This theme utilizes the Custom Field option within Wordpress. By adding to each of your posts or pages a custom field of “main_image” and giving it a value of an image url, the theme will automatically create from that image – thumbnails for the homepage, category pages and archive pages.
The theme will also create a header image within the post or page just under the title – this however can be switched off globally for posts and or pages. You can also set the height of this image from within the options.
The theme will also include the image as part of a portfolio should that page become a child of a portfolio page.
Breadcrumbs
Let your readers know where they are within the site by using the breadcrumbs feature.
This feature can be switched on and off from within the options page. You can also set the root name of the breadcrumbs to something other than “Home” if you prefer.
Head and Footer Scripts
If for whatever reason you need to include some javascript within your <HEAD> section or at the foot of the page – then there are options available to do either.

The perfect place for your copyright notice or anything else you’d like to tag on.
Contact Details Widget
Included is a widget for your contact details. Populate the widget with your information and drop the widget into one of the many widget zones. You can choose to the details along the foot of the page or in the sidebar.
